Cookie Policy

Effective and last updated: 1 November 2026

Kairo currently uses only cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in, protect requests, remember choices and run features you select. It does not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Essential session cookie

The protected Kairo session cookie keeps an account signed in and carries request-protection state. It is required for authenticated Kairo features, is not used for advertising, and is removed or expires according to the session configuration.

Preference cookies

kairo_region and kairo_language remember the Global/MENA experience and Arabic/English choice for up to one year. These choices are functional and can be changed in the interface or cleared through browser settings.

Browser storage

Kairo can use local storage for theme, layout, consent-notice acknowledgement and other device preferences. If you deliberately enable on-device voice, the browser can cache the speech runtime and model. Clearing this site’s storage removes those device copies and preferences but does not delete server-side account data.

No non-essential tracking by default

Kairo does not currently load an advertising pixel or audience analytics cookie. If non-essential measurement or advertising is added later, it will stay off where prior consent is required until the user makes a clear choice. Rejecting it will be as easy as accepting it.

Your controls

The notice shown on first use explains the essential-only setup. Its “Got it” button stores an acknowledgement locally; it is not consent to advertising. Use browser site-data settings to clear cookies and local storage.
